POTTS POINT PIED-À-TERRE

POTTS POINT PIED-À-TERRE

A brave yet sensitive scheme was created to reinvent a dark, slick city apartment into a warm uplifting sanctuary. With sweeping views of Sydney Harbour, Arent&Pyke added an infectious charm to the apartment by injecting colour, pattern and texture in an unconventional manner.

After stripping the apartment back to its bare beginnings, a finishes palette was devised to set the tone for a warm and inviting space. Sisal floors, walnut joinery and white walls provide the ideal backdrop to a unique and refreshing scheme. The use of hand-blocked French fabrics for walls and furniture alike, soft Belgian linens for curtains, exquisitely detailed bespoke joinery and strong lighting choices all work in unison for the space’s successful transformation.

"I found the whole process of working with Arent&Pyke most enjoyable. We seemed to be on the same page, and I am really happy with the whole design. I loved the fact that I had some input on the design process. Most of the ideas came from the girls, but I loved the fact that I had some input on the design process I loved working with Sarah and Juliette. I'm sorry I don't have any more projects to work on!"
