Amarelo Terrace
Our client brief was to create a modern, liveable and practical space for a young family whose previous home was a contemporary terrace in the same suburb. The architectural allure of the turn of the century Amarelo Terrace allowed us to create a sense of grandeur in height and space and balance it with strong injections of colour in furnishings for a modern, light and liveable home.

For us, it’s about creating mood and texture in those spaces — enriching, enlivening and embellishing with colour, texture and art. We always talk about natural light, which of course is really important, but half the time when you’re in your home it’s the evening, so it’s all about the artificial lighting and layers of lamps — of which there are many in this home — and creating mood with light.
